Current Agreements
Collective bargaining is the process whereby the union and employer negotiate a collective agreement for a bargaining unit. A collective agreement is a contract between the employer and union that represents a bargaining unit. Collective agreements are only in effect for a defined period of time. They set the terms and conditions of employment such as pay, benefits, leave, pensions, ect.
